As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining a long-term customer relationship with the key account(s). You will lead the matters of your account(s) from acquisition, product launch, series production through end of life. You will be responsible to drive the company performance and ensure customer satisfaction. Based on the account strategy, you will involve a cross-functional team to new business development and will maintain and strengthen the customer relationship. You will analyze and interpret current market trends, review possible impacts, and discuss these within the cross functional teams.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support management and the global sales team through written call reports, variance to the business commitment, market analysis, and updates on industry trends
•
Willing and able to travel 50% of your time domestically and internationally
•
Proficient at Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
•
Knowledge of light-weight joining technology
•
Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
•
Vehicle mechanical familiarity with solid understanding of vehicle sub systems
•
Robotics understanding is a plus
•
Able to analyze problems, generate solutions and achieve results
•
Self-motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
•
Familiar with automotive OEM’s, Tier 1, and Class 8 markets
•
Support engineers with product development and design
•
Work together with Arnold Fastening Systems counterparts in Europe and Asia on new global platforms
•
Knowledge of fastener installation solutions
•
Develop long-term relationships with customers
•
Act as point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
•
Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
•
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customer in a professional and timely manner
•
Monitor and report sales metrics
•
Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application
•
Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects

Work on large automotive platforms with design engineers preferred
