In the Life Skills Trainer role, you will help this company in its commitment to serving others by providing training, assistance, and supervision to program group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential & community settings.
Assist with medical supervision
Facilitate working relationships between community employers and Group participants
Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of specific programs developed by the team in the community and residence
Adhere to all treatment philosophies and completes all forms and measurement tools as required
Monitor and provide training in mealtime programming as necessary, prepare food as needed
Assist, supervise, and train participants in basic and advanced living skills (grooming, laundry, cooking, room cleaning, shopping, toileting, feeding, turning in bed, etc) according to the program and charting requirements
