The Opportunity:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will prospect and secure qualified new business appointments for your assigned Client Success Directors through prospecting, outreach, inbound traffic, and various other marketing efforts. This role offers high growth potential and the opportunity to kick-start a successful sales career in media with one of Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies in Marketing and Advertising for the past two years.
Responsibilities:
Target, identify, and qualify new qualified prospects in assigned regions.
Serve as the first point of contact, develop valuable relationships and engagement with target stakeholders.
Work in conjunction with the Supervisor of Business Development to develop specific territories aligned with your assigned Client Success Directors.
Support Client Success Directors on outbound strategies and lead generation efforts.
Maintain a current awareness of industry news and specific regional market intelligence.
Effectively overcome technical and business objections with prospects.
Confirm scheduled appointments with future clients and re-schedule “no-show” client meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-have –
Experience in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Comfortable engaging prospects over the phone (cold-calling)
Strong work ethic with eagerness to make this into your next career.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Nice-to-have
1 year of inside sales experience preferred, but not required to apply
Experience in a business-to-business lead generation or sales environment preferred.
