Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive business growth while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Consultant at Pink Zebra Moving, you will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring that each client has an outstanding moving experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Sales:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential and commercial moving markets.
    • Conduct in-person and virtual consultations with potential clients, providing tailored moving solutions based on their needs.
    • Build and maintain relationships with realtors, property managers, and other strategic partners to generate referrals. Manage inbound inquiries, respond to leads in a timely and professional manner, and provide detailed estimates for moving services.

 

  • Sales Strategy & Management:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand Pink Zebra Moving’s market presence.
    • Track sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust tactics to ensure growth and profitability.
    • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial consultation to closing deals and scheduling the move. Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.

 

  • Customer Experience:
    • Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service, from the initial quote through post-move follow-up.
    • Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the moving process, answering questions and resolving concerns promptly. Assist in identifying and addressing opportunities for improving the customer experience.

 

  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth scheduling and job execution.
    • Train and mentor junior sales staff or associates, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals. Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the moving or logistics industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and close sales effectively.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive company image.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales management role.
  • Experience working in a leadership capacity within a small to medium-sized business.
  • Knowledge of the Detroit Metro real estate and commercial property markets. Familiarity with digital marketing and social media outreach.
