Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive business growth while delivering exceptional customer service. As a Sales Consultant at Pink Zebra Moving, you will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing relationships, and ensuring that each client has an outstanding moving experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential and commercial moving markets.
- Conduct in-person and virtual consultations with potential clients, providing tailored moving solutions based on their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with realtors, property managers, and other strategic partners to generate referrals. Manage inbound inquiries, respond to leads in a timely and professional manner, and provide detailed estimates for moving services.
- Sales Strategy & Management:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals and expand Pink Zebra Moving’s market presence.
- Track sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust tactics to ensure growth and profitability.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial consultation to closing deals and scheduling the move. Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service, from the initial quote through post-move follow-up.
- Act as a point of contact for clients throughout the moving process, answering questions and resolving concerns promptly. Assist in identifying and addressing opportunities for improving the customer experience.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth scheduling and job execution.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff or associates, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals. Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the moving or logistics industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and close sales effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive company image.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales management role.
- Experience working in a leadership capacity within a small to medium-sized business.
- Knowledge of the Detroit Metro real estate and commercial property markets. Familiarity with digital marketing and social media outreach.
