Position Overview

As a Shuttle Driver, you are the first hello and the final goodbye for our guests. For many travelers, you are the starting and ending point of their vacation, and that means you set the tone for their entire travel experience. Your role goes beyond transportation; it’s about creating a warm, safe, and reliable environment from the moment a guest steps onto your shuttle until the moment they depart.

You will safely operate shuttle vehicles, assist with luggage, provide return directions, and represent our service values with professionalism and care. This is a tipped position ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and eager to make every ride a positive part of someone’s journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate shuttle vehicles safely and courteously between the parking facility and DTW terminals

  • Provide luggage assistance to guests, including loading and unloading items up to 50 lbs

  • Greet passengers, offer assistance, and answer basic service-related questions

    • Greet all passengers with a positive attitude, and thank them for choosing us

  • Deliver return instructions clearly and distribute locator slips accurately

  • Maintain communication with dispatch via company radio at all times

  • Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift, noting any issues or maintenance needs

  • Keep the shuttle interior and exterior clean and presentable throughout the shift

  • Assist with the setup or movement of traffic cones, signs, or staging materials as needed

  • Obey all posted speed limits (maximum 10 MPH on the lot), traffic laws, and shuttle loading procedures

  • Comply with all company safety protocols and guest interaction standards

  • You are required to be at your station by your scheduled start time; arrival even one minute late is considered tardy

Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by supervisors or management to support team operations and ensure smooth day-to-day performance.
